Executive Producer - Reid Williams

Producer - Janet Baus is a producer and editor for PBS, cable television, and independent productions. Most recently she was co-editor of the Lifetime documentary, 'Our Heroes, Ourselves' to be aired this May. She was editor and supervising editor on the 2000 and 2001 seasons of ‘Trauma: Life in the ER’ for New York Times Television, broadcast on The Learning Channel. She was recently hired as Series Editor for the 2002 Trauma season. Previously, she was co-producer with John Scagliotti and Dan Hunt, for the PBS documentary, ‘After Stonewall: From the Riots to the Millennium’, which was broadcast nationally in June of 1999. From 1993 to 2000, Baus was a producer and editor for the award-winning PBS series, ‘In The Life’, producing more than 30 segments. In 1998, she was co-producer and editor of the documentary, ‘Some Ground To Stand On’, which was awarded the National Educational Media Bronze Apple, and the Director’s Choice Award in the Black Maria Festival, and aired on several public television stations. She is currently in production on an independent documentary about lesbian collectives in the early 1970s, ‘The Furies’.

Producer/Project Coordinator - Dan Hunt has been creating award-winning programming for Public Television since the late 1980s. As Producer, he just completed Oliver Button is a STAR, a documentary about bullying and gender, which aired nationally on PBS in June, 2002. Oliver Button won the Silver Angel Award given by Excellence in Media, NAME Video Award and is screening at film festivals in the US and abroad. Hunt co-produced the award winning, PBS documentary After Stonewall (broadcast nationally June 1999) with John Scagliotti and Janet Baus. While a Producer at WGBY his docu-drama, Her Place in History(1998), won both the Gracie Allen Award for Drama (American Women in Radio & TV) and Best Documentary at the Hometown Film Festival. An early national PBS documentary on rural communities responding to AIDS, Names... from home(1992), won awards at the Chicago International and New England Film festivals.

Director - John Scagliotti, the award-winning filmmaker and radio broadcaster, was the Creator and Executive Producer of the In the Life public television network. In the Life, the first gay and lesbian national series on PBS, began in 1991 with only six stations; today it is carried by more than one hundred, including the top twenty-five markets in the nation.

As News and Public Affairs Director of WBCN-FM in Boston in the early 1970s, Scagliotti was one of the pioneers in multi-sound mix documentaries and received two Major Armstrong Awards ("FM's Oscars") for his work. In 1985 Scagliotti produced the documentary Before Stonewall -- the making of the gay and lesbian community. It received two Emmy Awards after it’s national broadcast on PBS and continues to be broadcast on hundreds of Public Television stations each year.

Recently Scagliotti released the sequel to Before Stonewall. After Stonewall was broadcast nationally during primetime on PBS June 23, 1999. The film won a Golden Eagle and the Audience Award at the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Film Festival and has been screened at more than 40 festivals around the world. He just finished a documentary on gender differences in children entitled Oliver Button is a Star! based on the book by the well known children’s author, Tomie dePaolo.
